About us

A wedding invitation should feel like the wedding.

Duotobe is a digital wedding invitation service made in Sri Lanka, for Sri Lankan couples. We started it because the alternatives asked couples to fit a Kandyan wedding into a template designed for somewhere else.

Built for Sri Lankan weddings

A Poruwa ceremony, an auspicious hour with a start and an end, both families named on the invitation, a blessing in Sinhala or Tamil. These are not options bolted onto a Western template — they are what the builder asks for first.

A private link, not a public page

An invitation is shared with the people a couple chooses. Every one is served with a noindex instruction, so it cannot be found through a search engine, and guest details are anonymised once the invitation has expired.

One price, paid once

Build the whole invitation and preview it as a guest would see it before paying anything. There is no subscription and no per-guest charge.

A keepsake, not a form

The opening moment, the music, the countdown and the photographs matter as much as the address and the time. An invitation should feel like the day it is inviting people to.

What we actually make

A growing collection of invitation designs, each with a live sample anyone can open before deciding — and behind every invitation, the workspace a couple needs between saying yes and saying thank you: a guest list kept by family side, RSVPs they can search and export, a seating plan, a venue floor plan, a private budget, a to-do list and a thank-you card. See everything included.

We add designs rather than settings. A couple should be able to find one that already looks like their wedding instead of assembling it from controls — and when none of them does, ask us for a custom design and we will make one.

Who builds it

Duotobe is built and operated by Cybernetics Nexa. If something is wrong with your invitation on the morning of your wedding, you can reach a person — contact support — and you can unpublish the invitation yourself from your dashboard at any time.
